Clarification on the nature of my candidacy — What I understand by being independent

Following legitimate references and questions that have been made regarding the nature of my candidacy, I consider it important to clarify some points. I am not affiliated with PCD.

My candidacy for Círculo Europa is formally integrated into the list presented by the Party of Democratic Convergence (PCD). Integration into that list does not equate, in itself, to party affiliation and does not alter the political autonomy that I have affirmed since the beginning of this candidacy and that has guided the way I present myself in public life throughout my adult life. It is also important to clarify that the initiative for this partnership came from me and was subsequently accepted by the competent bodies of PCD.

I myself proposed to PCD to integrate their list for the diaspora. That decision had a political dimension and a personal dimension.
